I need help with my rose!?
Hello, I bought this rose about 6 weeks ago and planted in a pot with soil. But this is no more! There is a layer of wax on that. Is this something to do with it, I cut the spikes, as the packet said. There anything i can do to make it grow better. Other shrubs (lilacs and honeysuckle) are thriving very well, and I bought and put into pot at the same time and same soil. If you can help me that would be great.
The wax is normal, just leave it there. Roses do best in soil if you could dig a hole and plant it, it would probably do better. Make sure you give plenty of water for the first 2 weeks. Good luck!
