how do i get wax out of a candle holder?
I bought some beautifull candle holders and put some small votives inside now they have melted and i cannot get the wax out. Even if i melt the wax and pour it out, most of the wax pours out but then some of it sticks to the side of the holder. does anyone know an easy trick to get the wax out?
the other answers are good. just the thing for next time. spray the inside of the candle holder with a cooking spray. then the wax should come right out. the other thing, with the hot water, etc, you should be very careful where you pour the wax with the water. bad idea to put it down the sink. then you would have an awfuller mess.
