What is it like shopping in SOHO on Black Friday?

i live in NYC but i don't shop on black friday a lot... especially hearing that people actually get trampled to death...

Surprisingly not. I live in the city, and last year was the first time I decided to experiment. It wasn't too bad. Just don't go to the tacky stores where they sell tires and underwear in the same isle....
