Should You Wake a Sleeping Baby To Eat?
I have heard never wake a sleeping baby, but what if they are only 3 weeks old!! How long would you let them go (hours) before waking them to eat?
Don't wake them unless it is happening between EVERY feeding. Going 5 hours between a feeding at night time is okay for a baby this age but if they seem to be doing it a lot and are very hungry when they wake you might want to consider waking baby at least every 4 hours. And certain if they are not gaining weight! You should be feeding at least 6 bottles or more a day and if you are not then you do need to start waking baby to feed more often.
