a cheap equivalent of rose pedals?
Hey there.
I'm going to be sending a gift to my girlfriend in the mail, but first I need about fifty rose pedals (or more) to write individual words on. The key word here is cheap -- so artificial rose pedals would work, or perhaps another flower in purple, blue or yellow?
Would I get these at a crafting shop? Also, if I do go for artificial, what can I do to make them soft to the touch like a rose pedal would be?

Artificial Rose Petals are available in all the major craft stores in the wedding section. There is nothing you can do to them to soften them up without the chance of messing them up. You want them to have some body so you can write on them. Have you seen the iron on expressions offered at the craft stores? They might be nice to iron on some of the petals. Make sure you see what the petals are made of, and they can take the heat.
