Using Essential Oils as a house cleaner
Lavender essential oil should have a place in any title = "Natural Cleaning"> natural cleaning closet fan. Thanks to its germ-killing antiseptic properties and fresh scent that everyone love, lavender oil is one of the most popular essential oils in use.
So how do you use oil Lavender? This could become a part of your daily routine and during the cleaning the house.
1. To make a disinfectant spray. Mix equal proportions of vodka and water, vinegar or 2 units White with a unit of water in a spray bottle. Add about 10-20 drops of lavender essential oil. Shake well. This mixture can also be used to clean the glass as well as being used as a general disinfectant daily.
2. For air freshener. Either put 10-20 drops of essential oil in water in a spray bottle, or putting the same amount of essential oil of lavender a 50/50 mixture of water and white vinegar. Shake well before use to disperse the oils. You can also use the mixture as a disinfectant sanitizer air.
3. Scenting your room: Put a little lavender oil on a cold lamp before lighting, or rub a little on a radiator. When the bulb or the radiator heats up, lavender oil will be released and dispersed throughout the room. You can also use a burner Aromatherapy type heated by a tea light.
4. Scented stationery. Put a few drops of lavender oil on a piece of tissue paper. Tuck the tissue paper, writing paper, albums, journals, etc.
5. Bath salts: Get about a cup of common table salt for any type and put it in a jar with screw. Add 20 drops of lavender oil. Shake well so that the scent is dispersed by the salt. Let a little soft before using. If you want, you can salt delicate purple hue by mixing a few drops of food coloring in the salt.
6. As a massage oil: Mix about 10 drops of lavender essential oil into a cup or two of light oil (sunflower oil is good, but olive oil is a too hard, although it is very pleasant for the skin). Let mellow together for a week or so before using it. This oil can also be used as bath oil.
7. In the bath: Just put 10 or more drops of oil in the bath as it spins. As oil Lavender is very calm and soothing - one of the reasons why it is popular in aromatherapy - this is the perfect way to relax after a hectic day.
8. Inhalation of steam. Fill a bowl with boiling water and add 5 drops of lavender oil. Cover the bowl and head with a towel in a sort of tent. Stay under the tent (do not touch the water) for at least five minutes, breathing deeply. Ideal for relieving congestion and headache caused by a bad cold.
9. The manufacture of liquid soap lavender. Get a bar of plain soap and chop into small cubes gross. Put this in a container. Pour about a pint of boiling water over the soap. Allow the soap to melt, then re-freeze in goo. Add about 20 drops of lavender essential oil and decant the goo in an airtight container. Use it for washing delicate fabrics (the smell Lavender is perfect for woolens and pushes mites) or for washing hands. You can use it for cleaning just about anything, including the floor and the car!
10. Ironing Spray: Fill a spray bottle with water and add 10 drops of lavender oil. Spray your shirts, etc with this before the board. Makes the chore of ironing a pleasure!
More ambitious people can try their hand at using oil Lavender essential to their own perfume and cosmetics, or other crafts such as soap and candle making.
