What do you like to add to your bath?
oils, herbs, salts, essences? etc. I like lavender oil or salt, sometimes rose petal milk
i also light candles and have some music
Those are great additions to a nice bath. I, too, like salts and oils in my bath. I particularly like:
Epsom salts for when I am sore from working out
Baking soda when my skin feels tight or itchy
Eucalyptus oil when I'm sick (put several drops on a hot, wet wash cloth and drape it over the water spout while you pour your bath, or hang it in your shower)
Lavender oil is nice for aromatherapy, and I use a few drops in a carrier oil for an after-bath massage or hair treatment.
Orange oil in my bath when I need a pick-me-up
I have tried bath bombs, teas, and many other things, but haven't tried milk. Cleopatra took milk baths, and the lactic acid is a mild exfoliant to make your skin soft while soothed. I try to avoid things that take too much to clean up. More clean up equals less enjoyment.
