Why is it called a root beer float?
When really it's the ice cream that floats, not the root beer. Just a random question that popped into my head while I was enjoying the yummy treat. 
I was thinking the same thing, Starr, but I was hoping someone knew of a funny or interesting story behind it. lol
I think it's because root beer makes the fluffy stuff float. That fluffy almost bubbly stuff when root beer and ice cream meet.
