What causes wood to "explode" by being split?
we have a pressure splitter 22 ton Huskee made by. occasionally, we would have a journal diameter of 6 inches or less, and exactly 1.5 m long, which sometimes explode outside. I would sometimes be slapped in the face by the bark and splinters. wood splitter be unperturbed, as he goes every secondary means. what causes this to happen? we are separated from oaks, red oak, elm and pecan.
