I have sixteen years of working in a used CD store. My friend is 16 and Yvette also works in a restaurant. We have a mutual friend (he has two jobs) named Taylor, who is a pretty, pretty 23-years. I never worked the same job as him, so I was never alone with him. The other night, Yvette said she went to the bar and talked with him, he had a beer or two. Because you're both 16, what he did was not illegal, if he had her consent. Age 16 and older is legally a "minor", while 15 years old is legally a "child". The reason This differentiation is such that anyone over 18 can not have any sexual contact with a person under 16. But that would kind of suck if your boyfriend is 18 and not allowed to hold hands or kiss you. So, as a 18yr old does not sleep with someone younger than him (or her), they are in the law. However, in the workplace, even between couples, it could be considered sexual harassment. If your friend does not invite such contact, then any legality, it is in big trouble. I could search for the laws of your state / country, but most of the laws of American States follow similar patterns. Report it. It could certainly get worse if you do not.
